The manual was translated, adapted, and tested by WLP's partner in Malaysia, Women’s Development Collective (WDC), in a series of training workshops that focused on gender, governance, and feminism. WDC has also conducted workshops, promoting tolerance and building consensus, by employing real life examples and opportunities for participants to practice the communication, advocacy, and facilitation skills that they are learning from the handbook and the dynamic workshop experience.
